Yochan is looking for his second chance. I named him Yochan, which in Hebrew means “God has shown favor” — and his story truly reflects that meaning. Yochan was found as a stray in a community where stray dogs are routinely euthanized. He spent 16 days locked in their cages, and was scheduled to be put down. When I called to ask about him, they told me he had already been euthanized. But shortly after, they called me back to say they had forgotten him behind — he was still alive, but was now scheduled for euthanasia the following day. At that moment, I knew: he was not meant to die. So, I took him in. Yochan is a male, mixed-breed Boxer, approximately 8–10 months old. Calm, sweet, and seeking human companionship. Anyone who knows Boxers knows they’re among the kindest and most loving breeds — perfect for families. He has received his first vaccine and has tested negative on the 4DX panel. Yochan came face to face with death and survived. Doesn’t he deserve a second chance at life — a home where he will finally be loved?
