Kahu

KAHU ❤️ Large brindle boy 35 kg - approx 3 yrs
On a recent trip to Cyprus I had a chance to meet Kahu .He's the biggest softest gentlest soul I've ever met .A complete cuddle bug , craving the love he's lost

Cookie has now left the shelter to fly to a wonderful home in Dec 2024 , Kahu remains in his kennel alone 😔

We are all so upset for Kahu
He relied on her so much .it's broken his heart all over again

He's already lost so much weight , he stop eating again shortly after she left
He's a gentle spirited boy , too gentle for a shelter yet he's endured 14 months there already

We now have to consider Kahu's home without her .He can live with another female , infact this would be the best for him , to bond with another girl or he could live alone if needs be

He shares his space with male dogs sometimes but may be selective
He would not be best placed with another big male dog
He is gentle with all humans, he's good with children , able to share his home with children 12 yrs plus if the opportunity arose
He's leash trained and keeps his kennel clean , he has lived in a home so will be houstrained

Kahu seeks humans out as his source of comfort , hugely loving, very kind and sweet in nature ,despite his size
His character is wonderfully grounded
He deserves a life away from all the stress of the shelter which he finds overwhelming at times
