Imagine this being your home 24/7 and you never get let out this cage 😭 The discomfort, the boredom, the sheer unknowing of when it will ever end…..

This is Kayla’s life 💔💔 but the worst part about that is that for 8 years, Kayla lived in a home. She knew what it was like to be loved. Now she waits behind bars, not knowing why she lost it all.

Her story is one of quiet heartbreak. A year ago, Kayla was in a car accident. Her owner was rushed to the hospital… and Kayla was taken by the police to the pound. Since that day, no one has ever come for her.

She has been waiting patiently, not understanding why her world suddenly collapsed. 😢😢

And yet, she hasn’t given up. Kayla is full of love. She adores people and children. She could spend hours just cuddling next to someone who shows her kindness.
She walks beautifully on the leash, enjoys car rides, knows basic commands, and gently takes treats from your hand.

She is a low energy gentle soul, walks wonderfully on the leash and could be a perfect dog even for an older couple who don’t go often for long walks.
Kayla is so deeply attached to humans that we believe she would be happiest in a home without other dogs—she wants all the love for herself.

Kayla is a senior dog, 8-9 years old, and time is running out for her. 😢😢 At her age she should not be living in cold floors staring at 4 walls 💔 Kayla is currently in the municipal pound.
Kayla is a large girl at 36kg, although she does need to lose some weight. Even so she’s an easy dog to manage.

She does get jealous when other dogs are around, especially hyperactive small ones, so a home with no other dogs would be the dream.

She is indifferent to cats, however she does have a tendency to food guard so we are looking for a cat and dog free home.

Do you know anyone who could offer Kayla a home? We will runs fund raiser to cover half her adoption fee if we can find a home.

If you can’t adopt then maybe you could sponsor her so we can take her somewhere more comfortable?

Kayla is currently in Cyprus looking for a home in UK. She will be neutered, vaccinated, chipped, treated for parasites, have her own pet passport and rescue back up from Saving Souls Animal Rescue.
