Alfie was found by kind people and spent a few weeks at a clinic where he was examined and neutered. He is currently on temporary foster and looking for his forever home. He clearly lived in a home before: knows basic cues, walks beautifully on leash—no pulling, adjusts direction, and even “untangles” himself by lifting his paws. Not afraid of traffic, attentive without being pushy. Sweet, calm, people-friendly, and enjoys staying close. He’ll invite you to play (brings a ball) but accepts a “not now.” May whimper a bit when left alone—trainable. He can guard toys (resource guarding), which usually softens with clear rules and routine. Shows confident interest in other dogs. Health: Alfie has leishmania, After the initial treatments he will need inexpensive tablets (typically allopurinol). They’re very affordable and, with regular use, do not affect his quality of life Ideal home: a loving family wanting a gentle, well-mannered, smart companion—perfect for city walks and a cozy routine.
