Meet MORRIS 🐶 , 7 month old pointer cross Simba shelter Cyprus Morris entered the shelter with his siblings a scared little boy at just 2 month old , sadly almost 6 months later , he remains stuck in a kennel cage Simba currently have over 30 pups in their care ,the result of irresponsible breeding and lack of neutering on the island Pups like Morris didn't ask to be born, to spend a life imprisoned. Yet here he is, with this life he has without a choice Whats more Morris is black and getting bigger, two crosses against him in the adoption world We know in rescue how much harder it is for an older pup whos colour is perceived as negative will struggle to find a home Morris is the sweetest of dogs though ! Full of beans , he loves life regardless, a testament to his wonderful character Described as playful , a little boisterous at times ! We think He'd be great in a household with other playful dogs but would equally do well as an only dog as long as he had the opportunity of doggy meet ups abd play sessions He adores attention , something in short supply in a large shelter like Simba .He patiently waits his turn for kisses and cuddles when volunteers come to visit , so endearing to watch him wait in line for some love It breaks our heart to watch him wait for his turn for love Every dog should have love in their life , evermore so a puppy These babies lost their mums , have nothing ! Yet remain full of sunshine and hope We dont appreciate how beautiful their souls are in truth Morris would benefit from an active household, lots of exciting and long walks ! Hes hugely sociable with all dogs he meets so we know he'll get along just fine with any doggy group he may go to live with play with Hes a really clever boy who loves to learn , soaks everything up like a little sponge Being a foody ! treats work their magic when training this little guy Morris would love nothing better than learning new skills He'll need mental as well as physical stimulation to really thrive We think he could live with families with children 5 yrs and older Hes not cat tested, maybe as a young dog he could learn to live with a cat However he can be a little boisterous at times He will need training like any other young dog , he'll bring so much joy though Hes great fun , he'll give his everything to whoever shows him that committment and investment he so badly needs Pups like Morris will always be on the back paw He needs to leave the shelter as quickly as possible so he can have a life worthy of such a beautiful young dog , with all those things he's missing Like love and affection , kisses and cuddles , Snuggles on a Sofa ,sleeping comfy dog beds .Morris sleeps on concrete and stones nightly , he's missing out on all the joys of being a loved young dog If you think you can help our Bubba Morris escape kennel life , if you think you can change is fortune for the better , please message the Saving souls team Rescue back up by Saving Souls Animal Rescue A UK registered charity Adoption and travel fees apply Homecheck applies Fully tested and vaccinated Morris has his passport and is ready to fly!
