Oscar

Oscar is an adorable dog! He walks well on the lead and isn’t afraid of people. He’s quite a calm boy, loves being petted, and enjoys spending time with people. Very friendly, he gets along with all the other dogs at the shelter. At the moment, he shares a kennel with a female dog. He did well during his test with children. He’s absolutely not interested in cats — showed zero attention, and was even a little wary when a cat came close to him. In the kennel, he may bark to attract attention.

He was treated with a course of Milteforan, which he finished in May. The latest IFAT and ELISA tests, done on 27/06/2025, were both negative. We recommend continuing to monitor him for leishmania, as it still cannot be confirmed with certainty whether he is completely clear of the disease at this stage.
