Sofia

Sofia – 4 years old, gentle soul with a fighter’s heart.
Found on the roadside in Limassol – beaten, starved, barely standing. Her body was covered in wounds, her eyes swollen shut, and she weighed just 12 kg.

She was rushed to the vet and spent 6 days on IV fluids, slowly starting to stand again. Then amazing volunteers from Dog Valley stepped in, giving her a quiet, loving place to heal.

And she blossomed. Sofia’s wounds healed, her fur grew back, and her eyes lit up again. She became playful, affectionate, and so sweet. She adores people, loves cuddles, and gets along well with other dogs.

She’s still a bit cautious in new situations – but she wants to trust, and she tries with all her heart. Every day, she grows more confident.

Now living in foster care, Sofia is ready for a forever home. She’s not just a rescue – she’s a survivor. And all she needs is someone to finally choose her.
