Little Lucy ❤️ approx 2 yrs old Pointer mix / small to medium size Currently in a Cyprus shelter This shy yet deliciously sweet girl is called Lucy ! A victim of Cyprus hunters, she was dumped in the mountains by her cruel owner, left for dead 💔 This gutsy dog made her way down the mountain to safety where she was rescued in the village of Lefkara .Drained, exhausted and so hungry ,she was more than happy to be saved by this point , putting up little resistance . Once back at the shelter , after a good meal and a restful night , Lucy started to show her appreciation for the kindness she was shown .lavishing her rescuer in kisses! We soon realised what an affectionate baby she was ! Although shy , she holds back until she feels safe , not uncommon for neglected Cyprus rescues Since being at the shelter, little Lucy has started to come out of her shell .We've discovered she's uber playful ! She loves to play with the other dogs ,always welcoming to any new comers to the shelter. Naturally reserved at times yet so keen to be loved, as though shes soaking up all the affection she's missed out on so far ! We can see Lucy has the sweetest and friendliest of nature's .She's just never been able express herself fully in her previous sad life.Such a little poppet ! Who's ready for her forever home now We think she would appreciate a companion dog in her new home, a dog who enjoys playing ! She gravitates towards larger dogs and enjoys the company of boys but happy to interact with girls too .Lucy would be described as having medium energy . She's had limited experience of walking on a leash however enjoys exploring with her nose ! In true pointer style! .She'll need an active home that enjoys long interesting walks with their dogs We don't think she'd be best placed with cats or younger children .She is a little nervous at times However families with older children 10 yrs plus are welcome to apply Dogs like Lucy deserve so much more than life has given them so far .Her first 18 months have been filled with neglect, fear , abandonment, hunger , little affection , yet she's the gentlest of little souls who must have yearned to be lovedband cared for so badly Well this is Lucy's moment now ! It's our mission to ensure the rest of her life , from now on , is filled with everything a dog needs and more !
