Appollo -Approx 2.5 yrs Collie / pointer Cross Currently in Cyprus can not live with cats Can livevwith children over 10 yrs old Meet Appollo ! a striking young dog of a lively nature ! A handsome boy with adorable white paws ! Which off set his beautiful black and white coat Sadly Appollo found himself dumped on the streets of Cyprus as a young puppy He's grown up at the shelter, not ever knowing any other life. Appollo has a medium to high energy , likely due to his cross of collie /pointer His mix is likely to be the reason why he's hugely bright ! He gets immense pleasure from training and learning .His energy could easily be harnished by the right adopter who sees just what a wonderful boy he is , he just needs plenty of physical and mental stimulation Not only is he full of energy! But also full of love ❤️ He enjoys nothing more than some affection .There's so little of it to go round at a busy and large shelter so when Appollo does get his chance of some human kisses and cuddles , he laps it up ! He's got to know the staff very well over time but can be a little shy of strangers, it's noted though he soon warms up when he realises humans can have treats ! and is happy to give him some of their attention Appollos ideal home would be as an only dog , he could live with a calmer female but may react to males This behaviour is obviously in a shelter environment where dogs can be stressed .This may not be the case once he's in a home environment Appollo would benefit hugely from a home with adopters who recognise his energy and intelligence needs to be channelled. He gets such a kick out of being taught new tricks! His new family should be prepared for training and supporting Appollo learn about his new life in a home He could live with children over 10 yrs but we would advise he doesn't live with cats .Appollo would love lots of exercise! Interesting and challenging walks would be just the best for him so a active household would suit him the best Appollo has not left the shelter since he was a small puppy .His life and experiences have been confined to his kennel and an occasional short walk when the shelter has volunteers. Such a happy loving boy who's world has been tiny , with little stimulation, love or comforts We don't want Appollo to continue with this life , he deserves what every dog in this world deserves , a loving home , people who will invest in him , smoother him in kisses and cuddles , all the things he craves We know he will be a loyal and loving companion to anyone prepared to give him just those few things, it's not alot to ask is it ?
