Demis

This is Demis and I am determined to get him on the next flight out of Cyprus. He is the loveliest and cuddliest boy, just longing to be loved. He has now been in the shelter for over a year and it’s so heartbreaking to see him live out he is days there.

He is approx 2 years old and medium-large size. He is super excited with everyone he meets and lives happily with other dogs. He is even excited for a vet trip - it means he gets a change of scenery. A dog like Demis will be one of those dogs that is grateful every day just at the sight of you. Just to be lucky enough to be in your company and have bed to sleep on that isn’t a concrete floor. He will be very aware of the fact that you have given him a new life, and will pay you back with unconditional love and loyalty like you’ve never known.

It’s hard not to fall in love with Demis when you meet him. He just wants to hug you and be in your company. He will make a wonderful family dog or will be happy enough with a single person or couple. He could live with a resident dog or alone, and with children over 10 (due to his size and strength). Demis is having some basic training in the shelter and will have more once a home is found, to help prepare him for a new life as much as possible. He can already sit and lie down on command, he’s very attentive and food oriented.
