King

Another christmas in the shelter has passed for King. We will consider adoption, foster, or foster view to adopt to give this boy a chance. His vet fees are already covered. He can live with dogs of a similar size. He's yet another German shepherd who has found themselves in an overcrowded shelter.

King is the epitome of friendliness. Super excited to see you whether he knows you well or you're a stranger. He loves to get out of his kennel to burn some energy when he gets the opportunity. He’s your typical German shepherd - intelligent, brave, and confident and more than ready to devote his time and energy to his forever family.

King will need an experienced owner who will commit to training him. His intelligence and affinity for food should make training that bit easier. He takes treats gently off the shelter staff/volunteers and is beyond excited when he realises he is being taken out for a quick walk.

Any children within the home will need to be 10+ years old as he wants to play and doesn’t realise his size.

As with any shelter or rescue dog, King will need patience, love, and understanding. He will need to be shown how to behave so that he can thrive in a home and be the perfect companion.

Everyone can see King’s potential, we just need someone to give him a chance.

King will be happy as an only dog or could be homed with a resident dog of similar size.
