All about this dog…

Phoebe

Phoebe, English pointer, 2 years old

Meet Phoebe and her friendly personality, who brings an essence of calm to those around her.

Phoebe was brought in as a stray in September 2024 and was skin and bone. She has now put on some weight and is ready for her forever home. She may have been a hunting dog who just wasn’t good enough - maybe because of her affinity for people and that lifestyle just not suiting her. Although that lifestyle isn’t suitable for a dog at the best of times…but Phoebe especially as is so friendly and enjoys being around people.

She equally gets along well with other dogs and could live alone or with a resident dog. She is calm around children also calm and obedient during her visits to the vets. She takes treats nice and gently and we suspect she may be a pleasure to train. Phoebe will need patience and basic training to help her settle into a home environment.

We have no doubt that Phoebe would make the perfect companion. She will likely have medium-high energy levels based on her breed.

If you can offer Phoebe a warm, loving home, daily exercises and the occasional fun adventure then please message Laura or apply via our website. If not then please help her by sharing her post!
