All about this dog…

Phoebe

Nearly a year in the shelter for our Phoebe. She is an English pointer and nearly 3 years old. She was brought in as a stray and was skin and bone when she arrived (see one of her photos). She has now put on some weight and is more than ready for her forever home. She may have been a hunting dog who just wasn’t good enough - maybe because of her affinity for people and that lifestyle just not suiting her. Although that lifestyle isn’t suitable for a dog at the best of times…but Phoebe especially as she is so friendly and enjoys being around people. This girl just wants to be loved and to get all the cuddles!

She equally gets along well with other dogs and could live alone or with a resident dog. She is calm around children and also calm and obedient during her visits to the vets. She takes treats nice and gently and we suspect she may be a pleasure to train. Phoebe will need patience and basic training to help her settle into a home environment. We have no doubt that Phoebe would make the perfect family dog or as a companion for a single person or couple. She will likely have medium-high energy levels based on her breed.

Phoebe can be adopted in Cyprus or in the UK. She is ready to fly. She is neutered, vaccinated, and has had a full health check and blood tests for infectious diseases.
