Kobe
Kobe is a 4 year old medium to large pointer cross
He is playful, friendly, energetic and good with other dogs and children preferably over 12 due to his size
It was supposed to be a day like any other for one of our volunteers. They pulled up at the shelter entrance, and struggling with the mud at their feet, they opened the gate.
But something wasn’t right. The dogs seemed restless and wouldn’t calm down.
The volunteer walked around the pens, behind the office, next to the storage area.
And there they saw it. Two brown eyes, floppy ears and a trembling, skinny body. It was Kobe! Someone must have thrown him over the fence at night, and the poor thing was confused, bruised and scared of all the barking.
Fast forward a year, and Kobe has grown into an absolute sweetheart!
He craves attention like a toddler. He is energetic and loves playing with a ball or other dogs.
One problem now though as he is starting to get depressed in the shelter. Whoever walks by Kobe just begs them to let him out. He has also started losing a lot of weight due to stress.
Once out of the kennel, he calms down quickly and relaxes.
Kobe is a family dog, and it’s evident from the moment you meet him. It's hard not to love him! He has his whole life ahead of him and needs a family to share it with.
If you are ready for a beautiful, youthful, energetic companion, who will love you unconditionally, then Kobe is for you.
