💜 MEET CHICO: THE YOUNG BOY READY FOR A FRESH START 💜

Chico is less than a year old and a small to medium-sized Beagle cross Jack Russell Terrier. His nature is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and completely non-aggressive with people. He has a sweet, social personality but suffers from severe separation anxiety due to a difficult past.

If you have a busy, multi-dog household, a secure garden, and plenty of time to give, Chico is the pup who desperately needs your help to rewrite his story. Through no fault of his own, this poor boy has already been through a lifetime of upheaval, being abandoned in the mountains after a failed rehoming attempt. 

Despite everything, he has settled down beautifully and grown much calmer since arriving in rescue.
Chico will thrive with the right family because he is a sweet, friendly boy who just wants to be loved. He also absolutely loves canine company. Doggy daycare previously gave him a massive boost, he loves being around other pups.

His perfect match will be a multi-dog home where he can live with at least one other young, playful dog to keep him occupied and provide companionship. Due to his separation anxiety, he needs a family where someone is home all day with him, or who can take him to doggy daycare so he is never left alone to panic. Because he learned to run off in the past, he also strictly needs a highly secure home with a safely fenced yard where he cannot wander.

He will be neutered, vaccinated, chipped, and treated for parasites, with his own pet passport and full rescue backup from Saving Souls Animal Rescue.
