Kavas is an older boy, can we find him a comfy sofa? It will break him to go to kennels as he’s lived in a home for so long 🥹💔 his current owner is moving to China and cannot take him with them.

Kavas is an approximately 10 year old German shepherd cross and has been living with his current family in Cyprus for a year. Previous to that he was living with one of their friends. We believe he was saved from a kill pound many years ago. 

When our colleague met them she said Kavas came straight up to her for a cuddle 🥰 he is adorable 🥰

He might be an older gentleman but he is in great condition and walks well with no sign of hip issues, which are common in the GSD breed.

We don’t know if he is pure GSD but certainly it’s the dominant breed in Kavas.

They took the dogs out for a short walk. He got very excited when the lead came out and pulls on the lead in excitement at the start, but nothing that can’t be easily corrected with the right training.

He has been living with another dog for the past year without any issues, no food aggression.

Kavas is also used to cats being around because the family feed some stray cats.

Kavas has lived with children in his previous home, age 7 at the time, but assume the children grew up with him.

He’s just an old softy who loves being a pet and will not cope well going into a shelter 😩

So we are looking for a home for him on the next flight on 31st May. The current owner has put some money towards his flight so he has a reduced adoption fee.

Please consider this old boy, he doesn’t want for much, happy for lots of cuddles and attention and doesn’t need much exercise.

Kavas is currently in Cyprus looking for a home in UK. He will be neutered, vaccinated, chipped, treated for parasites, have his own pet passport and rescue back up from Saving Souls Animal Rescue.
