Pippin is a beautiful 2-year-old female Pointer cross, weighing around 20kg, currently in a rescue shelter in Cyprus. Like many dogs there, she has sadly been a victim of hunting practices—used, neglected, and then abandoned when no longer needed. She arrived very underweight and has clearly endured a difficult past, but despite everything, her spirit remains incredibly loving and gentle. Pippin is a playful, affectionate girl who absolutely adores human attention. She loves fuss, cuddles, and will happily return that love tenfold with her sweet nature. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is currently living peacefully with seven others in the shelter. She especially enjoys playing with her friend Sasha. She shows no signs of aggression—she doesn’t snap, bite, or fight—and is very comfortable around both dogs and strangers. On walks, Pippin is a pleasure to handle. She walks well on the lead and enjoys getting out and about. She also behaves well at mealtimes, eating calmly alongside the other dogs without any issues. Pippin has a high energy level and can sometimes get a little overexcited when playing, but this is all part of her fun-loving personality. After everything she’s been through, Pippin truly deserves a safe, loving home where she can finally thrive. Could you offer Pippin a forever home or a foster space? If you can help, or know someone who might be able to, please get in touch.
