Napoleon is a very sweet boy. He is shy with new people and may need a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he becomes a happy, cuddly companion.

He loved playing with Molly (a female of his size) and shared a kennel with her before she was adopted. He gets along well with both females and males. He is good on the lead, but definitely not suitable for homes with cats. As a hunting breed, he has a high prey drive.

He would be happy in a home with another dog, but no cats or small furry pets.

Napoleon has leishmania, but it does not affect his quality of life. It is well managed, and he only needs one tablet a day.
