All about this dog…
Oscar
Oscar was found wandering the streets as a stray on February 12th. He is about two years old, and when he was first spotted he was heartbreakingly thin — almost like a living skeleton. We immediately took him to the veterinarian, where he had full blood tests, including general and biochemical analyses, and thankfully everything came back clear. He was also tested with a 4DX test and a SNAP test for Leishmaniasis — both results were negative. Since then, Oscar has been slowly gaining weight and strength. Day by day he is starting to look and feel better, but he is still too underweight for us to proceed with his neutering and vaccinations. Despite everything he has been through, Oscar has the gentlest soul. He is incredibly friendly with people and gets along beautifully with other animals. He is calm, loving, and simply happy to receive a little kindness and care. We truly believe that by the April flight he will be strong enough and ready to begin the beautiful new chapter he deserves — a life filled with love, safety, and a family to call his own.
