Oliver

Oliver is a beautiful young pup who is only just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. After spending about a month at the shelter, this sensitive boy has made heartwarming progress. When he first arrived, he was extremely frightened — he would tuck himself away inside his little house and avoid coming out, watching the world from a distance because everything felt overwhelming and unfamiliar.

With patience, gentle voices, and consistent care from the volunteers, Oliver has slowly started to feel safe. Day by day, he has grown braver — first peeking out, then stepping forward for treats, and now quietly seeking reassurance from the people he trusts. One of the sweetest parts of his journey has been the special bond he formed with another shy pup at the shelter. The two of them find comfort in each other, often spending time side by side, building confidence together.

Oliver would thrive in a calm, understanding home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. He could happily join a family with other dogs and may especially benefit from having a gentle, confident canine companion to help guide him and show him that the world isn’t so scary. While he has a loving heart, young children might feel overwhelming for him right now, so a home with older, respectful kids — or adults — would be the best fit.

Give Oliver the gift of time, patience, and kindness, and you’ll watch him transform into an incredibly devoted, tender companion. Once he trusts you, his loyalty runs deep — and he’ll be ready to love his forever family with his whole heart.

He is currently in Cyprus looking for a home in UK. He will be neutered, vaccinated, chipped, treated for parasites, have his own pet passport and rescue back up from Saving Souls Animal Rescue.
