Orea was found alone shortly after New Year’s, wandering without anyone by her side. It’s heartbreaking to imagine that she may have once been given as a “holiday gift,” only to be abandoned when the excitement faded. Whatever her past may be, one thing is certain — Orea’s heart is still full of love.

She is incredibly people-oriented and thrives on human connection. Orea doesn’t just enjoy affection — she actively seeks it. She follows people with hopeful eyes, gently leaning in for pets, always trying to stay as close as possible. Physical closeness clearly makes her feel safe and reassured. She forms attachments quickly and deeply, and being near her person seems to be her greatest comfort.

The shelter environment has been difficult for her. Life in a kennel makes her anxious, and she hasn’t yet adjusted to the noise, routine, and — most of all — the loneliness. Orea struggles with being alone and would much prefer a home where she can share her days with someone who has time and love to give. Her anxiety in the kennel is not a flaw in her character — it simply reflects how strongly she bonds and how much she longs for companionship.

Orea would thrive in a home where she won’t be left alone for long hours and where she can feel included in daily life. She would likely enjoy walks, cozy evenings on the couch, and simply being by her person’s side. With stability and reassurance, her anxiety is expected to ease as she learns she is truly safe and not going to be left behind again.

She will make a deeply devoted, affectionate companion for someone ready to offer patience, warmth, and consistency. In return, Orea will give unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and a heart that loves fully and completely.

All she truly wants is a person to call her own — and a home where she never has to feel abandoned again.

She is currently in Cyprus looking for a home in UK. She will be neutered, vaccinated, chipped, treated for parasites, have her own pet passport and rescue back up from Saving Souls Animal Rescue.
