Argos is 2 years old, 16.4 kg and currently accepting applications for his very own human.

He arrived at the pound with Amaya (2 years old, 13 kg), and a few weeks later several puppies who looked suspiciously like mini versions of them — Olive, Oz and Zoe — were found. It’s likely they were used for breeding. Whatever his past was, Argos is ready to leave it there and move forward.

And here’s who he really is.

Argos is the kind of dog who really wants to say hi… but he’s going to do it in his own delightful, slightly dramatic way. He spots you. He gets excited. He bows down like he’s about to start a performance, then does the sweetest little tippy-tap dance with his front paws and lets out these small, goofy “announcement barks” that basically mean, “THIS IS THE BEST MOMENT OF MY DAY.”

It’s not over-the-top chaos. It’s gentle, joyful enthusiasm and it’s completely his signature move. You can’t help but laugh.

He’s affectionate, playful, and full of warmth. The more time he spends with the volunteers, the more of his happy, engaging personality comes out. He loves being involved, loves attention, and truly shines when he feels part of the action.
