Dita - 6 months old female crossbreed, medium sized, in UK Foster (Chobham, Surrey)

Dita’s story reads like a tiny heartbreak wrapped in hope — a little soul once lost on the streets of Cyprus, now blooming into the kind of gentle, trusting pup who just wants to be loved and belong.

Dita adores the gentle reassurance of her doggy friend in her foster home, finding courage in his quiet presence, and she would truly flourish with another kind, steady companion who can help her confidence continue to bloom.

The ideal home for Dita would be:
With an active couple, single person or family (Children 12+) with a large garden to run around.
Someone who is not away from home in the day for long periods of time - she is ok when left with chews but always has her doggy friend with her.
Would ideally have a resident dog.
She has met a cat when out, but was easily distracted - so may be able to live with a dog savvy cat.
She has met babies in prams and toddlers.

Here is what her foster mum has to say:

"Dita is a lovely pup. I really can't fault her ❤️ She hasn’t had a single accident in the house—there’s a dog flap, but at night, if she’s in my bedroom with the door shut, she’ll alert me to go out. She’s great on walks, with perfect recall in our enclosed space even when other dogs are around. Playful but respectful.

We’ve only met one cat on a pavement walk, and to be honest, my dog was more interested than she was.
She immediately faced me when asked and waited for her treat. I think she’d be fine with a brave, dog-savvy cat. she she loves being close to my dog and they play a lot, so I think she’d prefer to live with another dog. She’s not food protective and will give up toys and chews if asked.

She sleeps on my bed or the sofa, but if I say “off” or point and tell her “go to bed,” she listens without fuss. I’ve introduced her to horses—she was nervous at first but showed no aggression, and now she’ll calmly sit as they pass.
She travels well in the car, usually falling asleep, and stays quiet if left briefly. She’s never chewed or tried to jump forward. She is not a chewer and has not chewed anything in the house.

After walks, I wash her legs with my Mud Daddy and towel dry her, and she waits patiently. She’s not a fan of baths (only had two), but just hides her head under your arm—no aggression at all."

Dita, the dear, sweet pup who has had a rough start in life is becoming an absolute dream — a little soul who’s finally learning that the world can be kind, and whose gentle heart is blossoming into something truly beautiful - could you be the answer to her happy ever after?

Dita is fully vaccinated, she has had full blood tests (including Brucella Canis), regularly wormed and had flea treatment, rabies vaccination, passport and microchipped. She has not been neutered as she is still too young.
