❤️ Meet Dakis — A Boy Who’s Ready to Devote His Whole Heart to You

Dakis, neutered, just over a 1 yrs old Malinois cross in UK Foster - Cam, Dursley

If you would like a running buddy then Dakis is your boy 😊

Another abandoned dog was found roaming the streets of Cyprus, alone and hungry, longing for the warmth and the affection of a human. At just over one year old, his puppyhood has been spent in solitude—no playful moments, no joyful toys, just loneliness.

He had a wonderful opportunity to fly to the UK to a foster home in February where he has become a confident, devoted companion.

Some dogs simply enter your life. Dakis is the kind who enters your heart.

From the moment he learns he can trust you, this beautiful boy becomes the most loyal, gentle “shadow” you could ask for. He’ll pad softly behind you from room to room, not demanding attention, not asking for anything extravagant—just wanting to be close enough to feel like he belongs.

🌿 A Spirit Full of Joy, Energy, and Wonder:
Dakis has a vibrant, bright energy that makes every day feel a little lighter. He loves walks, outdoor adventures, and anything that lets him stretch both his legs and his bright young mind. Offer him a puzzle toy, a chew, or a little challenge, and you’ll see him light up with enthusiasm—tail wagging, eyes sparkling, eager to show you just how clever he is.

He is the kind of dog who turns simple things—like a stroll or a game in the garden—into moments of connection and shared joy.

🏡 In a Home, He Truly Shines:
Once inside a loving home, Dakis flourishes. He is confident, curious, and incredibly eager to learn. His food motivation makes training not only easy but genuinely fun, and every new skill he masters becomes a bonding moment between you both.

With a bit more practice on recall, he’s well on his way to becoming the kind of dog any family would be proud to show off.

He is wonderful with children, and he loves meeting other dogs. His ideal home would be as the only male dog—either as your cherished only pet or with a calm, friendly female companion. His experience with cats is still unknown, so a thoughtful introduction would be needed.

🚶‍♂️ Gentle, Sensitive, and So Easy to Love:
Out on walks, Dakis is a delight. He walks beautifully on the lead and enjoys exploring at your side. Large lorries or loud vans can make him a bit unsure, so he’s hoping for someone patient—a person who will let him lean on them while he builds confidence in those moments.

This is part of his charm: he wants to be brave, and with someone kind guiding him, he absolutely can be.

❤️ A Heart Full of Love and a Future Full of Potential:
Above all, Dakis is affectionate, sweet, and ready to give someone his whole heart. He has so much love to offer, and all he asks in return is a family who will cherish him, nurture his gentle nature, and celebrate the wonderful dog he already is.

Dakis isn’t just looking for a home, he’s looking for his person.

Someone who will let him shine, grow, learn, and love as deeply as he longs to. He loves to run, so he would be an ideal running buddy. Currently runs alongside a Huskie 😊

If you’re searching for a loyal companion, a gentle soul, and a joyful best friend who will follow you anywhere—Dakis is waiting for you.

Dakis has been castrated, is vaccinated including rabies vaccine, fully blood tested, microchipped. Has his own passport, he has been regularly receiving flea and worm treatment.
