Hi there! I’m Thomas, I’m a lovable boy with a heart of gold, everyone that meets me says how special I am. 

I’m a 14 month -old lad, weighing 16kg, and I’m fully house trained. I’ve had a bit of a rough start in life—my ears have been cut off and my tail has been docked—but I haven’t let that break my spirit. 

I’ve been in my foster home for two months now, but I need extra help with my adolescent ways because the resident dog here is older and doesn’t want to play.

I’m a smart cookie and I’ve already mastered "sit" and "lay down." I even have a fantastic "stay" when someone knocks at the door until visitors enter! 

I’m a quiet roommate who only barks to let you know someone is approaching, and believe it or not, I’m even feline-friendly and can happily live with cats. I have great table manners too; my foster family has worked hard with me, and now you can pick up my food bowl or my chews without any fuss from me. I absolutely love my antlers and will happily gnaw on them for hours.

🗣️ This is what my Foster Mum says about me:
He is such a loving boy but can be mouthy when tired or excited; we use time outs which is very effective.

He does have separation anxiety, he just loves having humans around, so he needs a family who is home often. We have a camera and can see he gets quite distressed when we leave, though he does listen when we speak to him through it. 
While he's great with his bowl with humans, he’d prefer to eat his dinner in his own space away from other dogs to keep him feeling relaxed.

He is a very "rough" player and doesn't always know his limits when another dog says they are unhappy, which is why he needs a home with another very young, high-energy dog who can match his play style. Because he still mouths quite hard when he's over-tired or excited, he needs a home with children over 10. He is also a very strong puller on the lead, which is not doing my back any good, so he needs some ongoing training. 
He is a work in progress, but once he gets past adolescence we think he will be a dream dog, he is very easy to love.

My dream home would have young dog who loves to wrestle as much as I do and a human who is happy to help me with more training.

Thomas is currently in Romford UK. He is neutered, vaccinated, chipped, treated for parasites, has his own pet passport and rescue back up from Saving Souls Animal Rescue.
