Hello, I’m Luna! I am a beautiful 2.5-year-old German Shepherd. I’m a strong girl but very polite around children. I do prefer calm, gentle dogs, as the constant noise and barking of the shelter environment causes me a lot of stress, and I find rough play too much.

My absolute favourite thing in the world is going for walks. When I’m out of the shelter, I relax and engage. I’m a smart girl who would love an active family to give me fun tasks — I am so eager to listen and please my people.

In a real home, away from the pressure of barking kennels, I know I will find it much easier to relax and be myself.

Why am I here? Where’s my family? I’ve been here for such a long time now, watching dog after dog leave. Please don’t leave me here.
