Hello, I’m Tyler. I am a gorgeous Border Collie cross with a heart as big as my spirit. My journey to the shelter was a very sad one—I was found abandoned at the gates, tied up and left behind. My rescuers think I must have lived in a loving home before, because I arrived so clean and was clearly in a state of shock. It breaks their hearts to see me here, and I am finding it harder and harder to stay brave in a kennel environment.

I am a smart, friendly, and active boy who is a complete gentleman on the lead. I walk very well and I’m always ready for a new adventure. I am a social lad who gets on wonderfully with female dogs and I have even been a great friend to some of the pups here! Because I am part Collie, I am very bright and would thrive in a home where I can get plenty of exercise and the mental stimulation I crave.

I am very friendly with people and I have already shown that I am great with children, so I would be a wonderful addition to a family. I’m quite a star in the car, too, especially if I have a cozy crate to travel in for our trips to the park or the woods.

I am currently feeling very stressed at the shelter, and my friends here are desperate to see me catch the next flight to my forever home. I am looking for a family who can offer me the stability and love I lost, and in return, I will be the most loyal, devoted companion you could ever dream of. I am a sweet boy who is just waiting for someone to choose me and take me home for good.
