Hello, I’m Lisa.

I’m a gentle, shy soul who is looking for a calm and loving home where I can finally feel safe and flourish.
I’m a medium-sized hound mix girl with beautiful black and brown markings, approx 4 years old. I may be a little unsure at first, but underneath my quiet nature is a playful heart—especially when I’m with other dogs! I absolutely love canine company. Running around, playing, and turning anything into a game of tug-of-war is one of my favourite things to do.

When meeting new humans, I can be nervous and will gently move away until I understand everything is okay. With time, patience, and a safe space to settle, I start to relax—and once I trust you, I’m a happy, sweet girl who enjoys gentle affection. I’m good with being touched and examined, and I take treats beautifully.

Being around other friendly dogs really boosts my confidence, so a home with another dog would make me feel especially comfortable. I enjoy sharing space with canine pals and do wonderfully with them in open areas too—though super high-energy dogs can be a bit much for me!

I was found with my puppies before coming into rescue, so my past is a little uncertain. I’ve had no known health issues and I’m already neutered. I do have some food guarding behaviours with other dogs, so I’ll need understanding humans who respect my space at mealtimes.

I’m a quiet, gentle girl who just needs patience, love, and a peaceful corner to call my own. In return, I’ll offer loyal companionship, sweetness, and the joy of watching a once-nervous heart finally blossom. I can live with children, and I’m not bothered by them, but a calm home where I can take my time to settle would be the very best fit for me.

Lisa is currently in Cyprus looking for a home in UK. She will be neutered, vaccinated, chipped, treated for parasites, have her own pet passport and rescue back up from Saving Souls Animal Rescue.
