The hope in Pumpkin's eyes begins to fade.. and it is breaking us..

Pumpkin is one of the longest residents at one of the municipal pounds we support.

He arrived with his brother, Elmo, 9 months ago, when they were just 6-month-old puppies.

He was only a baby when he entered the pound. Now he's a young adult who has spent all of his firsts behind kennel bars.

No family.
No sofa to curl up on.
No adventures.
No one to call his own.

When the kennel door opens, Pumpkin comes alive. His tail wags excited, his eyes sparkle and for a little while he's just a happy, playful puppy enjoying every second of attention.

But when the door closes and he's left behind once again... you can see the change.
The hope fades.
The sadness returns.
That silent look seems to ask, Is this really all life has for me?

Pumpkin is now 15 months old, medium in size (around 20kg) and he truly is a wonderful dog.

He adores people, loves affection, gets along well with other dogs and even knows how to sit for treats. 

He's everything so many families say they're looking for, yet somehow he continues to be overlooked.
We simply can't understand why.

After months of waiting, we are beginning to lose hope but we know that somewhere, there has to be someone who will see the beautiful soul behind those kennel bars.

Please help us find Pumpkin the forever home he deserves.

Pumpkin is currently in Cyprus looking for a home in UK. He will be neutered, vaccinated, chipped, treated for parasites, have his own pet passport and rescue back up from Saving Souls Animal Rescue.
