🌟 A Heartfelt Plea for Teddy 🌟

Teddy is originally from Cyprus, he was found abandoned in a rubbish bin, just a tiny baby of only a few weeks old. A helpless pup thrown away like he didn’t matter. But he did matter. And from the moment he was rescued, he was surrounded by humans and dogs who showed him kindness, safety, and love. He grew into a bright, joyful, energetic little soul who adored life and everyone in it.

In November, Teddy’s luck changed forever. He was adopted and flown to the UK, welcomed into his forever home. His family loved him deeply — they still do — but sadly, Teddy struggles to get along with their two other dogs. Despite every effort, it has become clear that he needs to be an only dog to truly thrive.

This decision has broken his owners’ hearts. They never imagined they would have to let him go, and they are devastated that it has come to this. Their love for him is the reason they are choosing what is best for him, even though it hurts.

💛 A Message From Teddy’s Mum
“Teddy is an anxious little boy, especially around other dogs. But with people and children, he is wonderful — gentle, affectionate, and still full of that over‑zealous puppy energy even at just over a year old. He is beautiful, cuddly, loves his food, is crate trained, and travels well in both the car and the motorhome. He hasn’t met a cat, so he will need a cat‑free home.”

🐾 What Teddy Needs Now
Teddy needs a dog free home with owners that have experience with anxious dogs and who could continue with his socialisation and training.  Someone who could put his nose to work, e.g. scent work.  Given that he is a beagle cross access to secure fields would be ideal for him to be able to run free, otherwise he is best on a lead.  He can live either with an active single person, couple or family. As well as exercise he will also need mental stimulation.

Teddy has been chemically castrated, he is vaccinated and arrived in the UK fully blood tested with negative results for Brucella Canis and Leishmania.  He has his own pet passport.
