Lady has been at the shelter for over a year now and honestly, we cannot understand why.

She is stunning on the outside, but it’s her beautiful heart and incredible intelligence that truly make her special.
When Lady was a puppy, a volunteer taught her to sit and recently started working with her again on some basic training. She was completely blown away by how quickly she responded. She learned “paw” in no time and is now learning “down” too, although in true Lady fashion, she sometimes thinks the answer should be to give you her paw instead! 😂

She has so much potential and would thrive with someone willing to invest a little time and patience into her training. Unfortunately, when volunteers are caring for hundreds of dogs, it’s incredibly difficult to give one dog the individual attention they need and deserve.

Lady is around 1.5 years old and is a tall, medium-to-large-sized girl. She weighs only around 19 kg, so she is a lovely, lean girl with long legs.

But more importantly, Lady is affectionate, gentle and absolutely overflowing with love. She adores people and will happily shower you with kisses, curl up beside you and lean into you for cuddles. ❤️

She is still young and learning about the world, so she would love an active family or individual who can give her plenty of exercise, enrichment, positive training and most importantly, companionship.

She really is such a special girl. She has her whole life ahead of her and all she needs is someone to see her potential, believe in her and give her the chance she has been waiting for.

Lady deserves to leave the shelter and finally experience what it means to be someone’s beloved dog. 🥹
Please share Lady’s post, you never know who might be the person she has been waiting for. 🙏
