Smudge has spent his whole life waiting for a family. His rehomed siblings are described as sweet, cheeky and loveable; wonderful natured litter.

A calm, gentle dog with lovely manners, Smudge is the sort of companion who makes people smile. He has a kind heart, gets along well with other dogs, and is known for his relaxed, easy-going nature. But don't let the gentleman exterior fool you—he still has a playful, slightly silly side and enjoys having fun with his friends.

Smudge is doing well with his lead walking and already understands the shelter routine. Like many dogs who have spent their lives in a shelter environment, he may find busy roads, traffic, and lots of strangers a little overwhelming at first. With patience, encouragement, and positive experiences, he will continue to grow in confidence.

Currently sharing with his friend Skye, Smudge enjoys the company of other dogs and could happily live with a canine companion. He has also recently discovered how wonderful cuddles can be and is becoming more affectionate every day.
