How did such a handsome guy end up in a place like a municipality shelter could be our first question but none the less ,that's where this stunning boy has ended up

Found very thin , wondering the surrounding area , clearly dumped like so many before him
His breed sadly is much maligned in Cyprus .Overbred then tossed out like rubbish

Jacob has proven to have the most magnificent strength of character since entering the shelter
Definitely a leader and not a follower ! Jacob affords good social friendships with girl dogs but can be dominant with other boys , a classic trait of the breed

He's actually quite a shy and timid boy with people he doesn't know but soon warms up when he realises there's affection involved! Jacob is very human orientated. He's a people dog for sure
He'd adore a home that appreciated he'd like to be a velcro dog ideally ! True to his breed , Jacob is an incredibly loyal and loving companion who will give his all to the human who comes to rescue him

As with all young , larger dogs , Jacob would be best placed in a home that enjoyed walking
He loves a good sniff whilst out .Being a working breed , he'll enjoy to be challenged mentally as well as physically

Families with older children are welcome to apply 10 yrs plus
Not cat tested
Minimal leash experience but he's not a puller

Someone who has some large breed or GS experience would be helpful, although not essential

Ultimately What Jacob really wants is to be loved and cuddled. Just because he's a big guy doesn't mean he's not a soft guy ! Don't be put off by his size ! Jacob is a little dog in a big dogs body !
His aspirations are to be a lapdog!
