Cookie, 5 year old, mini pinscher cross, approx 5-7kg

This poor boy was abandoned by his owner through no fault of his own. After likely experiencing an abusive past, he is so loving and people orientated. The delight he exudes when someone shows him attention just makes your heart melt.

Having been surrendered in early February, he is still wondering why his family haven’t returned for him. Whenever someone passes his kennel he can’t contain his excitement. Maybe wondering and hoping that this is his lucky day and his owner has come back for him…

He is a confident boy once he knows you and will enjoy a pet and a belly rub. He gets the zoomies when he is lucky enough to go for a walk! Which is a joy to see.

Cookie gets on well with male and female dogs of similar size. He is a good traveller and always happy to be alongside people and really will make the most wonderful companion.

Cookie walks well on a lead and is a generally friendly boy wanting to know love again. Someone who won’t abandon him this time.

When Cookie doesn’t know you, he can be a bit fearful when you touch his neck, a sign of an abusive past. For that reason we do not recommend that he is homed with children.

We need to get Cookie adopted either in Cyprus or in the UK in time for the next flight so that he doesn’t have to waste any more time in a cage.
