Leon

Leon is a sweet boy, a staffy/lab cross, approx 2 years old. He has been in the shelter for 1 whole year. He is your typical staffy/lab type boy - friendly, excited when in the company of humans, generally just happy to be in your company. He adores showing affection and shower you with kisses and cuddles. He will be happy to have a sofa to call his own and to have a human by his side.

Leon could be homed as an only dog, but he also gets on with female dogs and non-dominant males. If he was to be homed with a male dog, they would need to be laid back and of a similar size. When he is out on walks, he is friendly with dogs but if a dog is reactive then he will bark back. Leon is strong and will need basic training to help him enjoy his walks and adventures.

As with any rescue dog, patience, understanding, and love is key. Leon will beyond grateful, knowing you have saved him from his previous life. Dogs like Leon really are the most wonderful companions. He will shower you with love and become your new best friend.
