Leon, staffy/lab cross, 2 years old

Yet another black dog that has found themselves behind bars. Leon found himself in the shelter in September last year and is waiting for his forever home.

He is a typical staffy/lab type boy - friendly, excited when in the company of humans, generally just happy to be in your company. Loving and cuddly! He will be happy to have a sofa to call his own.

Leon could be homed as an only dog, but he also gets on with female dogs and non-dominant males. If he was to be homed with a male dog, they would need to be laid back and of a similar size. When he is out on walks, he is friendly with dogs but if a dog is reactive then he will bark back.

Leon is strong and will need basic training to help him enjoy his walks and adventures.

As with any rescue dog, patience, understanding, and love is key. And you will reap the rewards! Dogs like Leon really are the most wonderful companions. He will shower you with love and become your new best friend.
