Simon, in Poulton le Fylde, good with other dogs, Labrador cross

Please consider Simon. He had shared his space with another dog for the past 18months and they flew to the UK in March which meant he was left behind. So, we flew him to the UK a few weeks ago to give him that chance that he deserves.

Simon is simply friendly and lovely with everyone he meets. He just wants to be loved 😢 Simon is around 2.5-3 years old and would fit into most home scenarios, which makes it even more heartbreaking that he still isn’t home.

He has an affinity for people. He adores children too. He loves spending quality time with volunteers that visit the shelter. For now, he is cheeky and happy. Simon had been in a shelter in Cyprus since July 2024, so the fact that he is still his happy self is a testament to him. It shows how strong and brave he is, waiting for his family to notice and adopt him. Maybe he doesn’t quite realise that being in a cage day in day out in a shelter is not what life should be like for a dog. We do know that Simon will beside himself with gratitude once it’s his turn to be adopted.

Simon will enjoy being part of a family where he has human company most of the time. He does equally enjoy being around other dogs, happily living in a pack with male and female dogs of a similar size. He can be homed with another resident dog, or as an only dog where he can lap up all the attention for himself.

He would suit an active home and one that also has the time and patience to help him settle into a home environment.

Simon gets excited around children so any children would need to be 10+ and dog savvy. He is very friendly with people and dogs and generally and tble happy-go-lucky boy!

If you can’t adopt Simon may be you could open your home to foster him to give him that chance.
