Sally

🐾🧡 SALLY 🧡🐾

Sally is a beautiful Greek Hare Hound mix with a gentle, sensitive nature.

She and her brother Harry were rescued from the streets as tiny puppies. When the rescue that saved them sadly closed down, they came to us — and together they’ve now been waiting more than six months for a forever home of their own.

Sally is shy and can be a bit unsure around new people.

She needs time to trust, to feel safe, and to truly settle. But once she knows you, her sweet and playful side shines through. She LOVES treats, enjoys gentle affection, and has a naturally happy, loving personality.

She blossoms with the support of another dog, and we’ve seen how much more confident and at ease she is with a canine companion by her side. While she could potentially be rehomed as an only dog, she would need a very patient adopter willing to give her the extra time, understanding, and slow introductions she needs. Adjusting alone is much harder for her.

At the shelter, she enjoys cuddles when she’s in the comfort of her kennel. But outside on her own, she becomes very stressed and disoriented without her kennel mate.

This is why we strongly feel she would thrive best in a home with another friendly, confident dog — unless her future family is very experienced and committed to helping her settle.

Sally is a special girl who simply needs patience, kindness, and a safe place to finally blossom.

Sally is currently in Cyprus looking for a home in UK. She will be neutered, vaccinated, chipped, treated for parasites, have her own pet passport and rescue back up from Saving Souls Animal Rescue.
